General Management

General Management is a basic yet very significant specialization in the management field. It mainly involves overseeing multiple functions in the company like planning, finance, marketing, sales, strategic business analysis of profit and loss, operations, revenue generation, and partnerships with external partners and clients. It is essential that a General Manager is highly experienced in a wide variety of industrial situations and familiar and up-to-date with the latest trends in global business. A General Manager is also responsible for overseeing and monitoring lower-level managers and subordinates. Responsibilities like hiring, training, coaching, salary planning, performance analysis, and exit interviews are also included in general management.

Eligibility

Potential candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent GPA) from a recognized university with a background in accounts. Institute-specific entrance examinations, CAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, SNAP, CMAT, or state-specific examinations are mandatory.
