The AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools) conducts AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) exam every year for different PGDM courses in partnering educational institutes. Every year the ATMA exam is conducted five times and the interested students have to apply for the ATMA exam online.
The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) was founded in 1988 as a registered society. The AIMS is a non-profit professional organization which has grown into a powerful network of over 740 top management schools of national and international repute in the country including IIMs, ISB, Xavier Institutes, Welingkar, MDI, S P Jain, ICFAI and NMIMS. The AIMS is the conglomerate of different management institutes that offer PGDM courses in the country.
The ATMA Exam is conducted by AIMS for PGDM admissions in different colleges across the country. The interested students are required to clear the ATMA test for getting admission to different PGDM courses across the country. The students intended to take up the ATMA test must meet the ATMA eligibility criteria which includes marks scored in the qualifying exam and other education qualification details.
The ATMA is a national level entrance test that provides admission to the candidates into various PGDM courses according to the scores and rankings secured by the candidates. The candidates will be able to get admission to the business schools and participating institutes according to their ATMA rankings. The ATMA is conducted both in offline mode and online mode.
The aspiring students who have completed their graduation degree in any stream with 50% aggregate marks from the recognised university are eligible to apply for the ATMA exam. The candidates who are in the final year of bachelor’s degree can also apply to the ATMA exam. The minimum age criteria required for applying for the ATMA exam is 21 years.
The ATMA exam consists of 2 modes, the online and offline mode. The ATMA exam paper will have 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs), that consists of six major sections of:
The online mode is conducted by AI and Human proctored home-based online exams. While in the offline mode the students should take the computer-based exam in the respective exam centres mentioned in the admit cards.

The students can take both offline and online ATMA exam for the PGDM course admissions. The students taking the online ATMA exam have to choose ‘Online’ mode while applying for ATMA exam .They will get their unique username and password on their registered email id and mobile numbers after the fee payment is done. While, the students interested to take up the ATMA offline exam are required to and choose the ‘Offline’ option while applying for ATMA exam. The students should fill the online application form without any mistake and keep the filled form for their future reference with them. The students are required to pay the fees online and keep the receipt for future reference. The students will get the unique username and password after the payment of fees. The students should keep this carefully to download the ATMA admit card.
