The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) was established in 2003 to provide proactive support to professional education & facilitate & streamline admission to postgraduate professional courses of PGDM in colleges of Bangalore and Karnataka.
The KPPGCA conducts the KMAT exam every year for admissions to PGDM courses in colleges of Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT is the gateway to more than 169 + AICTE-approved University-affiliated B-schools in Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT is a state level exam that will be held in more than 10 cities all across Karnataka and is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad.

The KMAT exam is a State Level Entrance Exam for admission to PGDM courses offered by different colleges of Karnataka. The test facilitates AICTE affiliated institutions to select suitable candidates for admission to the different PGDM courses in top institutions of Karnataka.

Eligibility
The students who have completed their degree in any stream with 50% aggregate and are interested to join PGDM courses in top colleges of Bangalore and Karnataka can apply for the KMAT exam.
Exam Format and Syllabus
The KMAT exam is conducted through both Computer Based (Online) and Paper Based (Offline) mode at specified exam centres. The KMAT exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based and consists of 120 questions that are divided across 3 different sections. The duration of the KMAT exam is 2-Hours.
