The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions to management courses across the country.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India with over 38000 members and close to 6000 corporate /institutional members through 66 Local Management Associations affiliated to it. AIMA was formed over 60 years ago and is a non-lobbying, not for profit organisation, working closely with industry, Government, academia and students, to further the cause of the management profession in India.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
MAT exam is an objective test and is one of the most popular national level MBA entrance exams in India that is conducted every year for MBA admissions. The aspiring students can take up the MAT exam four times a year and can join the top management colleges in the country. Nearly more than 600 MBA colleges across the country are accepting the MAT scores for MBA admissions.
The MAT is a national level entrance test that provides admission to the candidates into various management programmes according to the scores secured by the candidates in the exam. The MAT exam is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India and is accepted by majority of the B-Schools and management institutes. The MAT exam is one of the largest MBA entrance exams and has a higher acceptability rate than any other MBA entrance exams in the country.

The students who have completed their degree in any stream with 50% aggregate and are interested to join PGDM courses in top colleges of the country can apply for the MAT exam 2021-2022.
The MAT exam consists of 2 modes, the Online (Computer Based Test) and Offline (Paper Based Test) mode. The exam paper will have 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and the total time allotted is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. The MAT exam consists of six major sections, they are:

The MAT exam is conducted both online and offline mode
The MAT Online Internet Based Test (IBT) mode is conducted by AI and Human proctored home-based online exams. The students are required to visit the specific exam centres for giving online MAT exams.
While in the MAT offline Paper Based Test (PBT) mode the students should attend in the respective exam centres to give the exams.

The MAT Exam has the following updates:
